Pancake world record broken at stadium!

• Kenwood produce 1,135 pancakes to break existing record of 110.85 metres with a pancake line measuring 130.86 metres.
• All pancakes delivered to two local causes – Haringey Play and Bruce Grove Youth Space – via The Felix Project, a London-based charity which aims to tackle food waste and hunger.
Kenwood chefs whipped up 1,135 individual pancakes in the stadium’s East Quarter as they attempted to break the existing record and create the world’s longest line of pancakes, measuring 130.86 metres in length.
The line was then measured and verified by adjudicators from Guinness World Records, who confirmed the achievement and marked the first world record set inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Following the successful attempt, all pancakes were immediately donated to two ultra-local causes via The Felix Project, a London-based charity which aims to tackle food waste and hunger.
The pancakes are ready to be laid out
According to the charity, 1.5 million adults in London struggle to afford to eat every day, while 400,000 children are at risk of missing the next meal.
Located on the Club’s doorstep, Haringey Play and Bruce Grove Youth Space support young people in the Borough by providing opportunities for them to play outdoors and take part in free activities, including mentoring, cooking, music, art and dance.
Speaking after the donation, Tam Carrigan, Senior Play Worker at Haringey Play, said: “It’s really special to see the kids tuck into their pancakes and enjoy food together.
“Many of our young people come from disadvantaged backgrounds, which is why donations like this mean so much. They make us all feel truly connected to the local community.”
