Too little too late

DRAYTON GREEN

Vital Football Legend
I have just received an email from club. ( as below )

I am too busy to go although intend to go to flat pack away but if contribution by say 40 staff for about on average of a tenner each for 4000 tickets, its £ 1000 per member of staff.
Judging by the figures mentioned on another thread last week some players are on as much as £ 30 to £ 40 k a week.
it could be giving 1 / 30 th of a weeks money. That is minute.

Also if going by cabbage its £ 49 each, which with food and drink and a tenner for ticket probably adds up to £ 80 per person.
Hardly a bargain.

They must have watched game on tv yesterday seen how bad we are compared with Blackburn and thought that having double the away fan total will help.
What would help is if they put in more effort, pass to own players, defend properly and stop missing easy chances.

The ticket offer is the final insult to a season where we have all been insulted by the dross on the pitch week after week.

PLAYERS SUBSIDISE BLACKBURN AWAY TICKETS

Tickets for our trip to Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers on Friday, April 7, are on sale now.
The commitment of the travelling support has not gone unnoticed by the players and coaches this season so they have shown their thanks by subsidising the cost of the tickets for this fixture.
Prices will range between £1 and £10.
The club have opted to take an enhanced allocation for the game, with 4000 tickets available in the 31,000-capacity ground.
On sale dates are as follows:
Monday, March 20 - Away Sales Group 1 and Match Pick
Tuesday, March 21 - Away Sales Group 2
Wednesday, March 22 - Away Sales Group 3
Thursday, March 23 - Season ticket Holders
Friday, March 24 - General Sale
Ticket prices for those travelling to Ewood Park:
Adults £10, 65+ £5, 18-23 £5, Under-18s £1.
Coach is £49 with a £1 discount for season ticket holders and members, departing the south stand at 7.30am.

After watching two seasons of utter dross , I won’t be going anywhere near Ewood Park , and after relegating us last season the losers like McCrap , Air Rons , Sargent and the Chuckle Brothers should be paying us to watch their brand of football crap

Anyone else a little uncomfortable hearing DW say this international break will give us a time to reset and go again.

Didn't DS say the same thing during international break and trip to Tampa?

Teams losing points for not [aying players and transfer bans in place including Burnley.
Is this where we have to be grateful for being a self sustained club as it would really be a shock if either of those suddenly turned up on our doorstep

I wouldn't be surprised. We were told over and over that we are self funded and that's the way we will continue to be then bang we are over 50 million in debt as had to borrow as we could t afford players using self funded model.

Sarge Stats not great since world cup. But I don't think he has recovered from that nasty ankle injury he got and got another injury since then

……and he’s proved he’s no good in the Prem . If by some disaster we did happen to go up , with Pukki moving on , No Idea being way off even Chumpionship quality we would need to spend about £100m on just a new strike force

Yep and then somehow get funds to buy a new right back to compete with Mumba, new defensive midfielders, attacking midfielder, wingers, central defenders, and possibly a left back as giannoulis not good enough for championship and McCallum doesn't seem much better

We have to face the fact we cannot afford to stay down and cannot bear to go up ( not that it is likely ) and the majority of the squad is not good enough or worth much money to sell.
We are stuck with Webbers crap purchases who either have to play or go out on loan for a loss.
The Smiffs have finally screwed this club up completely.

Krul the latest one to blame the fans ,and hinting it’s up to us the make the team successful at CR . Krul …..you are the ones paid megabucks ,not us ,so shut up and get on with your richly paid job

The players at Norwich should show much more appreciation for the loyal fans.
Watching crap on the pitch either when getting stuffed in premier league due to poor ownership by smiffs and appalling windows by Webber or not doing well in championship due to poor manager selection by Webber, but still with a full stadium. Not the fans fault at all. Probably the most patient fans in England.
