The secret in our mini success under MON is not falling behind. As long as we r not loosing there is still hope that we can go on nd win the game but when we fall behind the feelinng is that its game over as we find it hard to break a team that concentrate on defending...
Wednesday is going to be a different game from yesterday as Villas forward line is exellent, quick nd strong...if given half a chance they will punish us...on the other hand their defence is more adventuras thus giving our strikers more room to exploit...Murphy surely is not the right strikers for such a game...

We have gone behind I think 3 times and lost all of them. Two were away and we were killed off by a second goal. The other was a later goal at home in a game we didn't deserve to lose.

I don't think that is enough evidence to say one way or another. Saying "the key is not going behind" could apply to almost any club. Concede the first goal anywhere and your chances of victory plummet, especially in the FL where the gap between top and bottom isn't that huge.

Anyone will struggle against teams that park the bus. Our first real taste orf that might be at Portman road. We are more attacking now though and won't waste time passing between defenders
 
I am hoping they pick up a few injuries and lose at lunchtime v Birmingham.Then hopefully Birmingham will get a points reduction whenever they have to face the football league panel as they will be in the mix otherwise.Villa with a fit Grealish are a different outfit as they struggled without him when injured recently.Agree MR that Villa do pose different problems for us.
 
Statistically speaking, apparently the team that scores first wins approximately 70% of the time.

Wednesday represents a great opportunity to see how we have changed under mon, the 5-5 encapsulated all the good and bad about Kranks team in 90 mims, although we will be a much changed team, Villa may well field the same lime up.

I'd be amazed if its a high scoring game this time!
