It can take a while for some players to settle, especially when its a new country as well
Some players appear to fit right in straight away, Lukaku at Man U for example, scores in his first half a dozen or so games, then hits a dry spell. Others struggle to start with and then settle right in.

It's taken time ... for it to sink in that he isn't actually a left winger. A quick glance at his CV will tell you that but not everybody reads, so it seems. Defensive or attacking central midfielder, yes.
 
Hard to believe its taken people down the Villa 12 months to realise he is never a left winger. He may well now become a big asset to us.
 
The goal he scored against Bristol was a great run and finish and I'd like to see him central but in the role Hourihane is supposed to do .
He's a much more skilled and runs on duracell , just so obvious in the Sheffield game , the difference when he moved forwards after Jedi and Davis came on we looked much better instantly
