Correct. It’s all about the quality isn’t it.

I think NH will be targeting the best 2 full backs he can get in the summer. That way our narrow midfield, with no one wide to help the FB’s will not be so much of an issue.

Either that, or top quality wingers that can and do track back and help. Maybe he’ll target both areas.

At the moment we have “decent” full backs, and no seriously good, athletic up n down the touch line wingers.

We do however, have some quality in midfield and some quality up top and in advanced attacking areas.

No problem with having wingers if they are effective and quality. Jordan Graham, when fit, would have been the first name of the team sheet as you always knew that, even with limited supply, he would provide dangerous crosses and would contribute when we did not have the ball.

As Jerry says, Ten Hag uses a system with wingers and that is why he made the club shell out 100m euros on Antony, even though his form has dipped since starting well.

With BG's financial backing maybe there will be a Jordan Graham type available in the summer but if there are only players with the crossing ability and delivery of Adelakun, Green or Ollie Lee, I would not bother.
