The most destructive force on the planet is MANKIND
Ironically, Mankind’s superior brain power (in the animal kingdom) conflicts with a complete lack of common sense.
Mankind is afflicted by the curse of GREED. For those relatively few in power, it’s all about short-term wealth over any long-term concern for the good of others.
There are 8 billion people on the planet and the planet is being ripped apart to provide for their needs …. needs that are continually superseded by rapidly evolving technology.
The effect on nature, both flora and fauna, on the quality of the air and water, and the environment, is catastrophic as we can see from climate change around the world. And still the global population continues to grow!
Human beings have evolved across thousands and thousands of years and yet are still unable to find a way to live together in harmony, or with nature in harmony.
Any discord between Mankind and Nature can only have one ending. The natural order of the universe will always win and the clock is ticking.
So …. why on earth (until there is no earth to be on) can’t nations, globally, determine the amount of people the planet, and each nation on it, can comfortably sustain and maintain that population level?
