He may as well claim Irish ancestry and develop a love for the drink he's gone that far to imitate God himself. Tyrones knee's probably aren't as bad but its looking a 12 month recovery rather than 9.It would be very helpful if Mings could at least get a run out before the end of the season.

Would love to have seen what he could be doing under Unai this season. Hey ho. Hope he is soon back to fitness, be nice to see him introduced a few times off the bench towards the end of this season, and then back in the swing of things for pre-season and our next campaign.

The way Zaniolo has panned out in terms of how very poor he has been we can certainly say we have missed Emi2.

Emi a massive miss but I wouldn’t write Zaniolo off yet. Valuable member of the squad IMO who promises more and may well deliver more before the season ends.

Not valuable in terms of goals and assists or starting appearances though. Very much a squad filler brought in due to Emi2's injury when at the time I think it was generally thought it was possibly an upgrade.
Hopefully as you say Zaniolo fires up more but I really don't think the thinking was let's get a loan in August but we'll wait until at least February until we see anything. He was supposed to be hitting the ground running , surely ?
The clock is ticking and with Emi2 looking good for a full pre season, based on what we've seen from both no way are we buying Zaniolo unless it's dirt dirt cheap.

I wonder how far he is away from a return. I'm not expecting a great deal for the rest of the season. It would be good to have him back though.
