Hi all , just to avoid confusion , I’ve started a new thread for the cup predictor.
the old thread got a bit messy ,

We are using the last two games of the season to complete this competition ,

the games are
Burnley and Norwich ,

the semi final is the Burnley game and the final will be Norwich .
Semi final A

Gary v Pompey
Lijaboc v Sheringham

semi final B
TQ2 v 54
SJM v Greavsie

if a tie break is needed it will be as per previous rounds , to keep it fair .

remember there are cash prizes at stake here ……… not to be sniffed at !

TQ2 v 54
SJM v Greavsie

Gary and Pompey drew 3-3
Lijaboc and Sheringham drew 3-3

Gary and Lijaboc go through to the Group A final on tie break .

TQ2 beat 54 ……4-3
SJM didn’t post so Greavsie goes through .

Group A

The final will be Gary v Lijaboc

Group B

the final will be TQ2 v Greavsie .

We won 1-0

you both scored two points for the correct outcome and One point for Kane as scorer .
The tie break situation was that we took the scores from the current game and two previous games in this completion and added them together .
Gary beat you on the accumulation of scores .

same thing happened in the other semi final in group A .

Group B was more straightforward.

You gave Gary a good run for his money though mate .
 
So , both finals ended in a draw …… well they would wouldn’t they !
Gary 4 v 4 Lijaboc .

Greavsie 5 v 5 TQ2

onto the tie break scenario
Points for this game and previous two games in this competition added together

Gary 5 ( -2,3,4) =5 v Lijaboc (4,3,4) =11

Lijaboc is the Cup Winner in Group A

Greavsie 6 (3, -2,5) = 6 v TQ2 ( -2,4,5) =7

TQ2 is the cup winner in group B .

WELL DONE TO LIJABOC AND TQ2 in the inaugural GREAT CUP COMPETITION ,:cup::cup::cup::cup::cup::party::party::clap::clap:

We will be announcing the cash prizes very shortly .
It would be nice for you to keep the money , please give it a lot of thought .
