Many, many moons ago I was struggling to sleep one night, so turned on the TV. It just happened to be the U19s Cricket World Cup final in New Zealand.

A very young Ben Stokes hit a Century to set up an England win. It was obvious even then what a talent he was, but I never imagined a year like this one for him.

Just watched the hour highlights of the day. What. A. Player.

I've never seen anything like it, and probably won't again in a hurry. Unbelievable, just incredible change of pace and power hitting like he was back in the IPL. Just ridiculous.

*Felt sorry for Nathan Lyon and the missed run out, and the fact that Tim Paine burned their last review with that stupid call to review that ball pitching outside leg, so couldn' review the far more obvious lbw on Stokes.
