I would hope he will be, I don't think any player / sportsman should be recognised until they are retired. Southgate and Kane getting honours when they've not won anything (yet) for example, madness. I'd wait for the end of a career, see the mettle of the person, see their achievements (on and/or off the pitch) then honour.

That was effectively our B-team, as well.
