Inclement weather on a mid November evening .Fans on an open terrace .All pretty normal stuff .
 
Salop one up at Media City Salford and deservedly so. Crashing far post header from an unmarked Waterfall came back off the post for a tap in. Tippy tappy stuff from Media with virtually no end product bar a couple of decent crosses. Lloyd looking their liveliest player while Rooney not had a sniff v Waterfall. Reasonable crowd but zero atmosphere - can hear what the coaches and individual crowd members are shouting out.
 
Rooney with Salford's first effort in the 77th minute back in it after he peeled off onto the full back at the far post.
 
LJL hasn't improved.
In the event we have to play them next season, we don't need to worry about the tv darlings and everyone's second team. They were pish-poor.
 
After tonights embarrassment, perhaps BR will recall Mensah and Slocombe...especially if they have a change of manager.

Yep. Muldoon 1-0 and the Robinson to Southend saga dragged on long into night within the ground.
