Watching Hawkridge closely yesterday in the free role reminded me just how good he can be. He's got terrific technical skill, can pass, and float in lovely crosses. Yet Scunny let him go, so what do people think are his weaknesses?

Technically, perhaps the best we have. Certainly has a superb first touch. His lack of pace is the most obvious deficiency. But, I would prefer to build a team around players strengths and ignore the perceived or actual weaknesses.

Lovely footballer and lovely lad. Hope he is here for several years. Type of skill level and attitude that we need. No footballer is perfect especially at our level!

I thought it suited him playing in the mid-field position more than it did playing on the wing, he just seemed more relaxed in that position. That was the best football I've seen City play for a very long time.
