Oh dear we are really down to the bare bones now -
Gibbs out for the rest of the season. He has a serious Quad injury and is going down to London to see a specialist to see if he is going to need surgery. Normal recovery time is up to a couple of months.
Sargent is probably not going to be fit. He couldn't train today, and we plan to play without him.
DW says we will not complain and never use injuries as an excuse (except the time you used Hwang's injury as an excuse for us losing).
How strange, but Sargent has the same injury as Gibbs - both picked up quad injuries at basically the same time. Well, he went off, and he came on, blah blah.
DW says that we will hopefully have more games coming (playoffs) so players can return and play again.
Sorensen was due back in training, but as usual with Sorensen, it hasn't happened, and he isn't going to be involved tomorrow or in the next game.
Rowe is not ready for PNE and most likely will feature in the Bristol match.
DW sounds defeated already when he says 'The players have played a lot of big games home and away; they competed and won a lot of them. Look, nothing is decided after this game on Saturday; we are in the middle of the race.'
Saying if we don't win, it isn't the end of the world.
On SvH DW says that he needs to impress him in training if he wants to play. He said he is sure his time will come. It might be PNE if it might be the next game. Who knows?
