What a way to round off the year, a resounding victory and a double over the Hornets to end our winless run and bounce us back up the table.
Martin said the players were upset by some of the criticism of them in social media this week, but they well and truly answered those critics, and every player played their part in the demolition of Watford.
Turning to our next match, another at home, and it couldn’t be tougher, It’s Burnley, who are running away with it at the top of the table, and have only lost 2 from 25 matches this season, scoring 50 goals in the process, including the 4-0 drubbing they gave us up there.
Swans last 6 home WWWDLW
Clarets last 6 away WDWLWW
We welcome back ex-Swans Jack Cork and Connor Roberts and hope their return is pointless, pun intended.

Swans 1 (Cooper 27’) - Clarets 2 (Maatsen 12’, 22’)

Subs: Andy Fisher, Olivier Ntcham, Luke Cundle, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Matty Sorinola, Cameron Congreve .

The difference was Maatsen, the on loan Chelsea left-back, with a brilliant free-kick and a 25 yard shot that Benda should have saved.
