Summer Transfer Rumours Thread

I'd argue we need better quality of set piece taking + better set piece design. I know we do miss chances from corners, but overall the standard of our set pieces is dreadful.

Agreed about set play, headers from free kicks and corners. Even with Charlie I never thoughts Evo and Baps scored enough

Williams was direct from free kicks.

Not good enough in my eyes. Know Lincoln are very keen on him, and I'd suggest our aspirations are higher than theirs.

Hearing that poor aspirations are higher than other clubs gets some getting used to sand a shock to the system. Can you be gentler please @Abel

Despite the 2019/20 campaign only being curtailed last week, the Seasiders have already been linked with a host of names over the last couple of months.
Liverpool full-back Adam Lewis, out-of-contract Aston Villa goalkeeper Matija Sarkic and Rotherham United forward Jerry Yates have all been mentioned as potential Blackpool targets.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town defender Rarmani Edmonds-Green, who has spent time on loan with Swindon Town this season, became the latest name to be linked with a switch to Bloomfield Road over the weekend.
Dunn, who now works as first-team coach having overseen four games earlier in the season as caretaker boss, admits the club are looking to plan ahead.
“One of the most important things in the game is recruitment, so the club has been very proactive even during the lockdown period,” he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
“They’ve done a lot of work to try and get ahead of time.

“The club has been busy during this time to identify players that they’d like to bring into the club.”
One position the Seasiders will certainly be looking to strengthen is in attack following the departure of top goalscorer Armand Gnanduillet.
Despite the club offering the Frenchman improved terms earlier in the season, the 28-year-old confirmed his intention to leave the club once his contract expires this summer.
Dunn paid tribute to Gnanduillet, who finished the campaign with 18 goals from his 36 games.

“His goals have been very important for the club over the last couple of years,” Dunn said.
“When you take a goalscorer out of the team it’s going to be a big gap to fill, but the manager is pretty confident he’ll get someone in to play in the style he wants us to play going forward.”

Interesting that we had offered improved terms to Frenchieearlier in the season.
We will safeguard against losing players in the future.
