Mansfield might have bigger long term potential in his view but yep I agree strange call on his part.

From what I read his family are in Sheffield and he wants to be near them.

I read he and joe Dunne (numbers 1-11)) are living in a flat down south whilst his family home is in Sheffield so I can totally understand his decision.
