There is an article in the Mail where KC says he is fine with using youth team players in the first team and talks about the success he has with this in the past. I wonder if this is a way of preparing us for some shock debuts forced by the shortage of fit first team defenders. In a way quite worrying because however keen and skilled a 17 yr old centre half might be, he will be kicked all round the park by hardened League Two forwards especially when he is playing alongside first teamers short of confidence and low on form.

Luckily, KC didn't need to resort to youth team players. Sounds like Pools game them a good game and only lost due to very sharp practice from one of their players and lack of awareness from our keeper. Luckily all our relegation rivals all lost so no major damage done.
