Andrew Cole, in his Yahoo Sport column, believes that despite a 'difficult' start to life at Newcastle for Steve McClaren he'll turn things around and prove successful at St James' Park.
The man he replaced, maybe with a degree of sour grapes too, John Carver isn't quite as convinced!
Cole, who worked with McClaren at Man United when he was a coach at Old Trafford, feels NUFC are in for 'a long, tough season' but has faith in him to be successful with the club in time.
