Watching the highlights back on MOTD it showed a quick shot of Gareth Southgate sat in the stand again - thats 2 weeks on the trot at the Lane.

Significant or coincidence?

Was he having another look at a particular Utd player or was he just taking the opportunity to watch Leicester?
 
He could have been watching Vardy but as you said he was there last week too, so maybe he has his eye on JOC or Hendo maybe? or maybe he just likes the way we play. Its not too dissimilar to England's style, just one up top.

Vardy has retired from international football. It was more likely that he was watching Maddison (great pass for the first goal, but otherwise anonymous) and/or Choudhury (best player on the pitch.) With Butland imploding, Hendo has a chance to be called up as the third choice goalkeeper as well. I think it is too soon for Jack, but he if he keeps playing well then he could have a chance later in the season.
 
Just read their own paper's vedict on the goal.....foul for taking a ride before the goal but VAR didn't find fault.......VAR is CRAP.

Baldock has had a good start to the season, but he has no chance of being selected for England ahead of the likes of Alexander-Arnold, Walker and Trippier. He might play himself into a call up for Greece though.

Yes, tbf after the Palace game it could have been any one of a number of players. Unfortunately, Leicester wasnt the best game to judge us on.
Thats not criticism, just an observation, Im not ready to chuck them under the bus after 1 defeat.
I think we all know this season is going to be a massive roller coaster of highs & lows.
We've had 2 highs & 1 low - lets hope we can get back to the highs asap!
