SeasideTonys Bob Hats' Travels

Hello Everybody :hello:

Here we go again. Another season almost upon us, and I took in another new ground for me personally.
It was a sunny day, few beers beforehand and down to the Giant Axe.
Didn't get to see the full 90 mins obviously but I resisted going on to the pitch.

I liked the new strip, and I liked the look of one of our new forwards. I thought it was David Perkins at first but young Cullen took his goals really well. I think he could be my new hero

I didn't see that old barsteward of an ex-dad, and this is my first time at this new division with my adopted parents, so I'm hoping to add to my number of new grounds.

I hope to see you all soon, I'll be on the road this season :hello:

Regards
Bob The Hat :tophat: :tophat:

Good Evening everyone :hello:

Well I took in Shrewsbury away again, that's 2 visits and 2 defeats now, with no goals scored either. :nope:

I'm looking to the LDV to give me some hope for my travels, I'll be taking in some away games starting next week at a new ground for me Port Vale.

See you all soon, Keep The Faith, UTMP.

Good Morning Everyone :tophat:

Well my first trip to Vale Park last night, and I've finally seen an away win for the first time in ages.
It was a cold, wet and foggy night on the way home. Glad I went though.
I'm gutted that Saturday has been called off, I was looking forward to gong to Valley Parade.

Hope to see some of you on my travels this season :hello:

Morning All :hello:

Well another new ground for me yesterday. I can't believe we scored 3 away from home and still managed to lose.
I enjoyed the day I sat in a club watching the early kick off game then made my way in to the ground, I saw some old bloke be made to take his hat off during his search, goodness knows what they thought he was going to be hiding underneath it, other than a beautiful head. :grins:

I'm missing Bratfud on Tuesday, I'm struggling for next Saturday too, but I will be at Wigan in the LDV - hope to see some of you there.
Regards

Well another ground I've previously been to, where I've seen much better displays and results than I did on Tuesday.

I don't know what's gone wrong, I'm hoping that I get to see some decent away performances in the near future.

Its very windy outside, hope to see you all on my travels soon.

Good Evening Everyone :hello:

Well I went to Port Vale, again, the other night. I didn't enjoy it as much as my last visit though.
It was cold and very wet, I spent most of the game under cover.
I hope we can get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.

See some of you on my travels.
Keep the faith

Good Morning Everyone

Well another new ground for us all yesterday, I'm just disappointed that we didn't press home the extra man advantage.
We look short on strikers and short on a playmaker.
The windows open, here's hoping Mr Dedication of life is opening the war chest.

Nice to see some of you yesterday - See you all at Walsall :tophat:

Well w do I start.
Bob he Hat has been 'misplaced'. :anger:
The incumbent who collected him after Burton is struggling to find him "in his bedroom."

Let's just say if the said person tidied his bedroom more often then Bob wouldn't have missed out on the grounds visited of Oldham, Walsall Crewe :anger: :anger:

You've a little time left to find him as Bobs been to Donny before but until then Bobs friend, Billy the baseball hat has taken over the ground counting duties.

To be continued :lash: :lash:

Good Morning Everyone :hello:

Well here I am again, standing in for Bob whilst he is still AWOL.

I took in Prenton Park the other night, it’s an impressive ground for non-league but a stark reminder of what can happen once you drop out of the leagues.

I saw most of the new players, and the new manager - he looks a lot friendlier than the last one.

On the +side, I’ll be ticking more new grounds off my list this season, here’s hoping that I see a few of you along the way.

Guess who's back, back again,
Bob Hats back tell your friends
na na na na na na

For the more mature of us that's an Eminem song and not the chocolate covered sweets.....

Yes it really is me. Trusted to TC at Burton on New ears Day the ***** just tosses me on top of his wardrobe and despite repeated cries for help as I slipped down the back of it he doesn't find me until he moves out and has a clean up. GGGRRRHHHHH. :grins:

Anyway looking to the future, I'm back and will be doing away games as usual. I'm also going to take a holiday in the near future just t get over the trauma.

Hope to see to you all soon
Bob TH :tophat:

:hello: Good afternoon everyone

Well what an eventful couple of weeks, took 2 games in - Horwich in the LDV and then Sat.at Accy.
2 defeats...... :argh:

In between I was on my jollies to the US of A. I needed it after being sat behind a wardrobe since New Years Day, I ha a thoroughly enjoyable time taking in NYC then Boston. I went up the one WTC, then to the statue of Liberty, also saw Grand Central, went down to Coney Island and the Cheers Bar in Boston where everyone knew my name. :hah:

See you on my travels soon

Good Morning Everyone, and a Merry Christmas to you All :tophat:

Well another ground ticked off my list yesterday and another win as well. The perfect present.
I saw a couple of posters from here in the stands, and I'm grateful to the poster who took me up and looked after me :hah: No dropping me on the floor outside the car or stuffing me behind a wardrobe for months from this fellah :grins:
Hope you all have a Happy New Year and I'll see you on my travels very soon

Good Evening Everyone :tophat:
Well my first visit to Cambridge, although the person taking me has been before.
Happy to take a point in the end. Never a pen, never a red but Slocombe getting a good name for himself with saving from 12yds.
Enjoyed the evening had a few beers :drunk: and have worked my way back to the North West earlier today.
Hope to see some of you on the road again shortly.

Was good to see you on the road again Bob, luckily those old duffers you travel with didn't leave you in a hotel room along with their tickets. They're getting as forgetful as your previous owner.

Good Morning Everyone :hello:

Well another trip to a damp and miserable Ewood, our cup run ending in the rain.
Couple of new grounds coming up in Carlisle and I'm hoping to make Pompey too, let's hope we can rekindle our league form and make a push for the play offs.

See some of you soon
