Burnley partners with young player scouting and funding app Nordensa
April 30 – Premier League Burnley have announced an agreement with football talent platform Nordensa, which allows fans to discover and financially support trials of young talent from across the world via an app.
Burnley are the first Premier League club to enter an agreement with Nordensa as an Official Scouting Partner.
Nordensa combines technology and data analysis to spot and enlist talent across the world, already vetted by the platform’s team of Premier League and Bundesliga scouts.
The platform helped generate the signing of the world’s first ever fan-backed footballer to a European club last year. They say their method of scouting gives fans an “unprecedented element of ownership and decision-making power”.
The deal has the potential to spark a scouting revolution if it pays off, with more clubs likely to follow Burnley’s example if the partnership bears fruits.
The value and length of the partnership remains undisclosed.

Currently sat in 19th place in the Premer League on just 24 points, the Clarets are two points away from safety with three games to play in the three-way relegation scrap between themselves, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest which will only see one club survive. Sheffield United are already relegated.
