The Whitchurch game was last year.Crewe have already played a dozen or so games but some of the opposition have been questionable particularly the game against the mighty Whitchurch Airport!!

Crewe played another one yesterday - a 1-1 draw at Kidsgrove. Twelve pre-season games is a hell of a lot even with a large squad, that could come back to bite them as the season progresses. The majority of L1 clubs have played five or six games.
