Well a last minute goal for Liverpool meant Mcnamee is this weeks top scorer with 24. Good to see another entrant this week. Early days but Tooney set the pace by a point. Table and scores are as follows:

What's the craic re the points scoring sysystem ? X for correct score and Y for correct result ? What's the value for each mate ?

I can't remember the exact scoring system as it was decided years ago with McNamee now doing it but im sure it's something like 5 points for an exact result, 3 points for forecasting a (not exact) win or draw with 1 point for getting a team's goals correct. I may be wrong like.
 
That's nearly it Tooney. 5 points for the correct score. 2 points for the correct result. 3 points for a correct goal difference, Say the result is 4-3 then if you take 1-0, 2-1. or 3-2 you get 3 points. Likewise if a score finishes 2-2 and you have predicted 1-1 or 0-0 then 3 points are awarded. 1 point is given when you get the result incorrect and you correctly predict the exact score of one team, For example if the result is 2-2 and you have taken 2-0 or 0-2 you get a point.
 
As usual, the table will be posted now and then when it's so early in the game although individual weekly scores can be revealed on request. Mac still sends the table to me on a weekly basis anyway so maybe it's an error on my behalf not to pass on his good work.

A week which had some unexpected scores and as usual a few managed to get a correct score on here. The notable one was The Pyrry with a couple of correct scores which meant for a second week in a row he takes top spot with an excellent 21 points. The table and scores are below. A superb week for the Owl who correctly predicted both results on Sunday to add to the one he predicted on Saturday gave him the highest score of 31. Joint 2nd with 25 points were Braith and Mcnamee.
