I agree with you Caz. Although I know revenue is important and the cost to fans is equally important I think that feeling of something "special" is what I want most.
To go as the culmination to a season is the ultimate reward! I don't think that would feel as great if I had been there a few weeks earlier for the semis.

A neutral ground as near halfway between the homes of the two semi- finalists as possible would be a better idea. IMO.
 
It is part of why the love of the FA Cup is dying. Unfortunately, they need to pay for Wembley Stadium and I cannot see anything changing.

What was worse for us on Saturday was, we were in London. We usually go in groups of 4 and save around 25% on the fair. On Saturday, because Reading were going to Wembley, national rail would not allow anyone to take advantage of the group booking offer so everyone had to pay full price.
