Vital Football Legend
A great night: almost assured of the play-offs, still in the hunt for the autos, and one of only two Football League clubs in Lincolnshire. New club records for away wins and away points in the Football League, and the prospect of breaking the overall club records at Peterborough on Saturday. Could be interesting.

6.0 is the par score, use half-marks and give us your comments too.

Deadline is 5pm on Thursday.

Palmer 7 Didn't have a lot to do but showed terrific control of his area and distribution was much better

Poole 8 Giving him an extra point for putting Saturday behind him straight away. You learn much about how a player reacts to an error and he was excellent tonight

Eyoma 7 Did the simple things well. An uncomplicated performance

Montsma 7 As per TJ. Did the job required

Edun 7 Good performance but I get somewhat worried when our left back decides he's going to play central midfield five minutes from the end of a match you are 1-0 up in.

Bridcutt 8 Really good 45 minutes from the skip

McGrandles 7.5 Terrific all match closing down and nicking the ball

Grant 8 Great to see him get a full match and makes a difference when he's on his game.

Rogers 7 That run and shot shows what a huge potential he has. Worked hard all match

Johnson 7 Was causing them a lot of problems before he had to come off

Morton 7 Worked very hard again. Just needs to refine his first touch

Scully 7 Usual hard graft

Hopper 7 Good to get 45 minutes, even if left wing is not a natural role for him

Palmer 7- early season Alex back and firing on all cylinders. No real saves but the housekeeping is back in good order.
Poole 7 - still tends to knock a pass back, but keeps the ball live. Sound defensively including one important interception.
Eyoma 7.5- couple of soft fouls apart, sound in defence, good distribution.
Montsma 8 - imperious, deals with the tough ugly defending then strides out of defence, pings out masterful passes and throws in other clever stuff too.
Edun 8 - when he's being our best left back he's not bringing his skills to midfield. Until the second half tonight, when he combined both.
Bridcutt 7.5 - controlled the first half, sniffing and snuffing out danger, lovely dinked cross for the goal. Wrap in cotton wool and deploy when essential.
McGrandles 8 - masterful. MoM. Good enough for Scotland?
Grant 8 - targeted by Shrews, kept cool, influential and hopefully injury free. Showed his range with a headed winning goal.
Rogers 7.5- some terrific runs and his all-round game is developing with some gnarly tacking and defending.
Johnson 7.5 - looked a real threat before injury curtailed his night, hopefully just precautionary.
Morton 8 - transformation into Ginger Hopper continues. We can debate all night if he's happy in that role and if his skills would be better deployed off Hopper rather than being Alternative Hopper, but it's improving his all round game and he's getting rather good at it. Factor in returning from long term injury and covid, it's been a remarkable contribution from the ginger ninja.

Scully 7 - initially anonymous after replacing the sparkling Johnson, he had a good second half with some excellent running and passing on both wings.
Hopper 7 - showed Morton he's still the master, helps control the game, big defensive contribution too.
