Live on iFollow

Jensen 8 - Rock solid
Sorensen 7
O'Connor 6.5
Mitchell 6.5
Roughan 6
Hackett 7.5 - best footballer on the pitch tonight
Erhahon 6.5
Bishop 6.5
Mandroiu 5.5 - rusty
Taylor 6
Draper 5.5 - not his night

House 6
Moylan 6 - teasing glimpses of there being a player in waiting

Back three all made a few errors tonight (mainly positional) but their covering for each other was commendable and saved their scores

Via iFollow - a frustrating night, lacked the quality where we hoped to see it.
Jensen 8 - good decision making and execution throughout and distribution better.
Sorensen - 6.5 - ran, as he does, and one fine run and cross late on and a couple of other good crosses, but radar off too often, in common with much of the team.
O'Connor 5.5 - I'm conflicted on this. Application and commitment, but too gobby and too many soft fouls. Not a captain for me.
Mitchell - 6.5 - rock solid.
Roughan - 6- as committed as any and some bruises to show for it. Some wayward positioning and passing though.
Hackett 8 - best outfield player, superbly taken goal, Charlton terrified of him all night.
Erhahon 7.5 - grafted hard, must learn to hold his tongue. Another unecessary yellow.
Bishop 7.5 - starting to put his stamp on the game, then had to be withdrawn.
Mandroiu 5.5 - super free kick nearly scoring the second, but frustrating overall. Decision making poor. Confidence rebuild needed - Time out? Time on the pitch? Time on the training ground?
Taylor 7 - hard running, nearly winkled a couple of opportunities and can he tackle? Just needs that goal.
Draper 6 - tough night when probably not fully fit.

House 6 - still working his way back.
Moylan 7 - some clever touches, still getting up to speed, looks a player.

Jensen 7 Still think he should have done slightly better on their goal, but made some excellent saves otherwise that earned us a point we may not have ended up with.

Sorensen 7.5 Just don't know where he gets the energy from
O'Connor 7 A good return to the side for Paudie
Mitchell 7 A solid return too.
Roughan 7 Really settling into that LCB slot
Hackett 8 Star man and has been our main attacking threat since he came back from injury. Could turn out to be the LWB we have been waiting a long time for.

Erhahon 7 Did a great job holding the midfield together
Bishop 6 Not as impressive as on Saturday. Worked hard though.
Mandroiu 4.5 An extra half point for the free kick, but otherwise he was poor. A good amount of effort, but as soon as the got the ball he played it first time - mainly to one of their players. Rust? Lack of confidence?

Taylor 5 Really struggled with the physical side. At this level and with our style of play, speed is not the only attribute required.
Draper 5.5 Battled manfully, but not his night.

House 6 - hard for him to make an impression at that period of the game
Moylan 7 - very impressed. Good touch on the ball, good body strength. Looking forward to seeing him get more game time.

Jensen 8
Commanded his area. Made some great punches, handling good and made a few good saves, particularly the one at the end that kept the game level.

Sorensen 6
Couple of burst down the wing and a couple of decent balls into the box.

O'Connor 6
Good first half and held strong for the final ten minute onslaught.

Mitchell 6
See above.

Roughan 6
Did his job well but banged some long meaningless balls downfield to no-one but to be fair the ball was just coming straight back at us in that last 10-15 minutes or so.

Hackett 7
Didn't touch the ball (hardly) in the first 18 -20 minutes.
Took his goal really well and was our best outfield player once he got into the game, especially second half.

Erhahon 6
Battled away in midfield

Bishop 6.5
Did ok without really creating anything, if that makes sense.

Mandroiu 5
Always difficult to come back into the starting lineup after a (enforced) lay off. No lack of effort but things not quite coming off for him in a bit of a disjointed team effort.
Great shot though that hit the post from the free kick.
Think it will be back to the bench for him (barring injuries) on Saturday.

Taylor 6
Plenty of effort but with very little opportunities created on the night.

Draper 6
One incident where he did well and should of played Taylor in but fluffed his pass.
Tough night for the forwards. Probably wasn’t 100% fit.

House 6
A half hour cameo. Didn't have much to feed on but got 30 odd minutes into his legs

Moylan 6
This lads decent.
Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Jensen: 7.5 Thought his handling was good and a vital last-gasp save from Edun.
Sorensen: 7 One of the first names on the team sheet, just waiting for some contract news.
O'Connor: 6.5 Did what O'Connor does, but I prefer Jackson and Mitchell in there.
Mitchell: 7 Is he our most consistent player? A Millwall relegation may scupper any potential move for him.
Roughan: 6.5 Some questionable passing but now an established first teamer. Very close to 100 career appearances, some achievement by 20.
Hackett: 8 Showed again how much we have missed him, great first touch and finish.
Erhahon: 6 Thought he was out of things a bit by his standards, possibly why our overall performance was disjointed.
Bishop: 6 Par, but he has played a lot recently.
Mandroiu: 5 A strangely mixed performance, feeling his way back, perhaps? Some poor passing but a brilliant shot at goal.
Taylor: 5.5 Good mobility but badly needs that first goal, five appearances now without one.
Draper: 5 Other than a physical presence, made little impression. Possibly playing with an injury - went down in the first half and visibly struggled back up.

House: 6 No real impact but some more valuable minutes towards rehabilitation.
Moylan: 6 Definitely a skilful player in there, needs time to acclimatise to the speed of L1.

Jensen. 7. Had a busy last 30 minutes or so with a lot of high crosses to deal with and a point saving save late on from Edun.

Sorensen. 6.5. Always a threat going forward but usual mixture of delivery. Has started an annoying habit of throwing his arms about when he blames someone else for a bad pass. Look in the mirror Lasse.

Mitchel. 6.5. Defensively excellent, passing out from the back was pretty poor.

O’Connor 6.5 As above

Roughan. 6. Did ok but want a bit more from him playing out. He has a good left peg but often looked careless with his passing. Had a few ongoing fueds that meant he was looking to get involved in the skirmishes which maybe distracted him.

Hackett 6.5 Played in flashes and goal was an example of that with his first meaningful contribution. We didn’t get the ball to him enough, something Roughan has to work on from his position.

Erhahon. 6. Wilted a bit under the pressure second half, Dobson bossed the midfield at that time and that’s why they got on top.

Bishop. 6. Not on the ball enough but always around the action. When he was subbed they got on top and bossed the midfield, no coincidence.

Mandy 5.5. Did ok but not involved enough but it was apparent he was really working on holding his position and putting a shift in for the team. His touch wasn’t quite there but that free kick was superb and a few inches from perfection. We were right behind that post and the bend and dip was brilliant.

Draper 5. Didn’t look or act fully fit so credit Freddie for putting himself up there. Didn’t shirk the physical challenge but had a tough gig with a lot of hopefull hoofs to challenge for.

Taylor 5.5. Lived of scraps with no quality supply but hassled and harried and one blistering turn of pace nearly got him through in the second half.

House. 5. Didn’t look very good and didn’t hold the ball when we really needed him to for that last half hour. Usual regulation booking again.

Moylan. 5.5 Looked desperate to get involved and maybe hurried his decisions so lost possession a few times.

Watched in full yesterday morning on ifollow, midweek games just don't fit my schedule..

Didn't think anyone played particularly well and we really missed that midfield engine of Hamilton. Also felt the CB trio was less well organised with Jackson being out and shows why he should have the armband.

Jensen 6.5 a few decent punches, controlled his area well. I think he probably saves their goal more often than not.
Sorensen 6.5 couple of really nice delivery's into the box, always puts great effort into trying to get forward, his recovery runs back less so.
O'Connor 7 a good performance, solid with some nice moves forward.
Mitchell 6 Never doubt his commitment, he would run through walls, does occasionally get caught flat footed and his passing needs to improve.
Roughan 6.5 got caught out a couple of times but another decent showing
Hackett 7.5 took his goal very well and caused them plenty of problems

Erhahon 7 He was the only one in midfield keeping things together
Bishop 6 Was OK, if the other 2 are back Saturday think he may be rested
Mandroiu 5 An excellent freekick doesn't mask how many times he gave the ball away. Needed a lot more composure to take a touch an evaluate rather than just first timing to them! not sure we'll see much more of him in the next few games.

Taylor 5.5 Was so excited by him against Derby but he just hasn't backed it up yet. Needs a goal, think he will be used as impact sub once everyone fit.
Draper 6 Also needs a goal, not sure he was 100% fit for this game.

House 6 - was OK
Moylan 6.5 - thought he looked good, was very busy when he came on.

Game of two halves, missed Jacko and Hamilton. Last half hour could barely pass or retain possession.

Jensen 7.5 - More confident, kept us in it at times.
Sorensen 7 - Showed his pace and commitment, some decent balls in.
O'Connor 6.5 - Defended well but also indebted to Jensen, distribution dreadful.
Mitchell 6 - As O’Connor but distribution to teammates non existent.
Roughan 6.5 - Getting tougher and better, needs to concentrate for whole game.
Hackett 7.5 - Class above other outfield players. And the goal.
Erhahon 6 - Gone off the boil, needed to get stuck in. Dobson gave him a lesson.
Bishop 6 - Needed to get forward more, team performance worse when he was subbed.
Mandroiu 5.5 - At least he had a shot, worked as hard as anyone second half.
Taylor 5 - Just not a threat at the moment, needs the ball to feet or into space.
Draper 5 - Disappointing, never got near having an effort at goal, fought but not aggressively enough. Still injured.

House 5.5 - Little impact, went too deep, got booked.
Moylan 6 - Glimpses of quality, overran the ball but encouraging.

In the stadium

Jensen 7 Some very good saves but seemed (only when watching the highlights) he might have done better with the goal?

Sorensen 7.5 just never stops
O'Connor 7
Mitchell 7
Roughan 7 all three solid as ever
Hackett 8 MoM for me - becoming very consistent and exciting to watch

Erhahon 7 Another good solid performance
Bishop 6 Dropped a notch from the last couple of performances
Mandroiu 5.5 Unlucky not to have scored from the FK but didn't give us the magic we had hoped for

Taylor 5 Largely anonymous - hope he gets in the groove soon
Draper 5 as above - were they not really ready to step up?

House 5.5 No real scraps for him to feed off, so couldn't influence the game

Moylan 6 Showed some good signs, would like to see a bit more of him at some stage

On reflection, a point gained but whether deliberate or not, we seemed to be passive and defence minded, which was a disappointment after the attacking inent shown in previous games
