Priestfield

Remember Darlington and think about Chesterfield, MK Dons, Northampton and Barnet that haven't done too well with new stadiums. In terms of alternative uses for a new GFC stadium, I'd like to see a marketing plan and understnd what has been taken into account in view of Medway's close proximity to the capital.

That ground is fine for a league one / two club with insuffcient funds to invest in a decent squad that could maintain itself in the championship.

Its no good for an ambitious club who wants to stay in the championship or even higher.

Which are we ?

Our income streams are very limited by staying at Priestfield. Lower league clubs struggle to make money from player sales, the Premiership hoover up all the promising youngsters. If by moving we can generate a financially sound long term future then we should move.
There are examples where this has worked - Brighton, Bournemouth, Shrewsbury
