Sorry.
I stopped in middle of doing tables to deal with urgent site problem
and thought it would mean going back to start the table again but it had paused with changes and I was half way through yours and left it.
I have rescued my workings out from recycler and adjusted to add 7 points.

Best you all check as I am back to working stupid hours again and may make errors .
 
I cant remember how the points are allocated - before the last site upgrade there was a thread at the top of the prediction league that explained it but it disappeared after the upgrade
Can you stick it back up again please DG

Generally the points are :
Norwich game.
Exact score : 5
Correct result : 2. ( 1 extra point for getting Norwich goal total correct ).
Other games
Exact score : 5
Correct result : 2.

Can you look at Sargents injury updates as you may wish to revise Septembers
scorers predictions. IF we get a new striker ( yeah right ) I will add them in for you to predict.
 
AMENDMENT TO SEPT STRIKER THREAD

I've amended the September striker thread.
Sargeant has now been classified as injured so no scores are relevant

I've added Rowe into the list.

Ive updated my prediction with these two changes

For those that have already entered their predictions, please go back onto them and select the small down arrow bottom left hand corner and press edit then change Sargeant to injured and add in Rowe plus a number - see mine as an example

Dont forget to save the change as just pressing Done doesnt save it

AMENDMENT TO AUG AND SEPT STRIKER THREADS SCORING

In discussions with DG and looking at some of the nominated predictions we have revised the scoring by taking into account resultant negative results

The within 3 minimum number of goals scored has been reduced to within 2 to result in zero or a positive number.

As some predictions are less than 2 then the resultant would be a negative number. So as not to penalise inherently correct predictions and taking that negative numbers are not usual in football unless you've gone into administration we have added in a 1 point for within 2 that results in a negative.

This has been changed for both the August and September threads

As this is a new prediction scenario we are finding our way with it. It looks like injuries will play a part and Im not yet sure if we restrict it to the forwards. However we have strayed from that in adding in Rowe, mainly because he's outscoring the rest!!
