Fair play to Sanchez for having a good pre season. Won most of his duels.

I hate watching him on the ball trying to be an offensive player though. Twice against Roma he mis controlled the ball and nearly went out of play.

Lenglet showed him how to be an attacking LCB.

Ultimately, we only have 2 centre backs that Conte would be happy with - Romero and Lenglet.

When you think about it, guys like Davies and Sanchez are squad fillers. With Rodon gone, Japhet must be wondering what is going to happen to him. He should be looking after number 1 and not just let Spurs use him for his homegrown status.

That leaves a massive dependency on Dier. Apart from him just being below the elite level, what happens if he gets injuries?

It definitely doesn't feel like we've finished trading at centre half.
