Just asking because I'd like to know. Is it the ref who has the final say re a postponement, including if the terraces etc are deemed unsafe?

If so those trolls on the Blackburn local paper website can FCUK off.
 
That's a good question, I think if it's postponed for player safety (frozen or waterlogged pitch) then yes. I'm guessing if it's for fan safety it would be under advice from security staff and/or Police but I don't know who would make the final decision in that case.
 
Funnily enough, just read this on the BBC app. It appears Derby postponed their match due to unsafe stands at the advice of police and the Safety Advisory Group (whatever that is)
The league are looking into it as it's been flagged up by Cardiff as "convenient" for Derby as they had quite a few injuries
No mention of referee involvement.
