Does go to show just how gentrified football has become though. I doubt very many of the 10,000+ season ticket holders would pay to stand in the rain behind a fence any longer.

If my memory serves me correctly, that was my 1st trip to FP, with my Dad and older brother, that was the match that little Alan Biley scored Pompeys winner in the time added on for an unannounced visit to the pitch by Father Christmas. That was my 1st of many many visits to FP, still going strong now. Ready for next Sat, and hoping for another win, dont mind if its in normal time or added time. :156: :156:

YEs I found that Youtube and sent the link to a VP member now in Perth Oz.
He left with father five minutes from the end and had never seen the goals.
The pitch was rarely in that state in those days thankfully.
