I have predicted a draw for today as I am always hopeful but in
reality am very concerned.
I went to the last 2 aways at the emirates and we went for it and drew the first and were more cautious in the second and would have won if not for the incompetent officials.

However I am worried about today as I think the following will happen.

1. The team will be selected with 1 up front( ok I know I know )
and RVW will be totally isolated.
2. The tactics will be ultra defensive.
3. We will lose by at least 2 goals.
4. We will fail to score.
5. Afterwards I will say as we lost with hardly a shot on goal
we may as well have gone for it and others will respond if we had
attacked we would have been hammered.

Please let me be wrong and at least take arsenal by surprise as they will underestimate us and have one eye on next weeks yawn chumpions league game.
 
I can't see anything but a loss no matter how we play today DG tbh

Arsenal are the best side in the league by a country mile at the minute
 
I don't care if we loose, as long as we do it in style. The next three home games are where we will pick up points if we play with heart and spirit ... Oh, and 2 up front!!!
 
For all those more tactically aware than myself ( everybody )
I know will disagree BUT lets got for it and take them by surprise.
That may be somehow getting Hooper and RVW to start.
 
What's the latest on Pilks? He was a doubt with a hamstring injury last I heard, which means we could see Redmond starting!
 
read something yesterday that arsenal are not happy with todays ref [probert ?]
reckon hes got it in for them,they listed the decisions made against them in at least half dozen games
including a sending off and wenger being sent to stands !
 
They won't be expecting 2 up front.
They won't be expecting us to go at them.
Everyone has written us off already so we have nothing to lose.

Agreed, if we defend or attack I cannot see us winning this one, so nothing to lose, attack and go for them. Play with freedom and no fear and just play some good football. I am about to leave to go back to work myself so ill be missing this game. Will check scores whenever I can. Hopefully not too bad a game!!! OTBC
 
Lose that and I would say that we will definitely go down. Its that big even at this early stage. If we fail to win we will need to go on one almighty run to string some results together and no way on earth is that gonna happen.
