Bit harsh on Anderson,

Maxwell - 5. Kicks like Barnes.
Connolly- got better as the game went on 7
Keogh- 4* - edited down from a 5 having watched the highlights
Husband- 5
Garbutt-5
All 3 of the above were too slow in bringing the ball out.
Bowler- 7 missed a sitter first half
James- 5 Passed him by
Ward- 6
Anderson-6
Both the above got better as the game went on
Yates- 5 . Cuts a frustrated figure missed a good chance
Lavery-7 missed 2 sitters
Dougall- rusty ring 5
John-Jules- too late for any impact 5
Hamilton- lazy lazy 💩 shot right at the death.
Ref - needs to remember legs day and card happy trunk. 4
Club- better with away fans 7

I don't know how tough this league is but Coventry are no great shakes they did win against florists but tonight they weren't impressive so points lost

Maxwell 5 too slow but one really good save in the second half. Kicking is so poor when I was saying this last season I got slated
Connolly 3 Really really poor tonight
Keogh 2 not wasting my time justififying why
Husband 4 git worse and worse as the game went on
Garbutt 3 not sure why he's playing. Again I kept saying he couldn't defend last season so this year even worse. His free kicks could go anywhere. Let's see how good James is there
Bowler 7 a proper nuisance, end product often poor but he's a real threat running at defences and frankly we don't have another
James 4 don't remember him tackling or touching the ball. Needs a run in his favoured position
Ward 6 tried hard, typified ask when out numbered
Anderson 4 not effective
Yates 5 no supply frustrated and snatching at chances
Lavery 7 lack of composure, give him a chance he's all giddy playing league football
Dougall 5 better than last week. We need him so much
John-Jules 4 powder puff
Hamilton 3 one good cross, otherwise really poor

Critch 5 still learning but he learns fast. We need some quality and creativity

I realise it's very early days but imho Coventry will be one of the struggling teams this term.....so it looks like we need to up our game!

Watched this on replay, never as painful.

Maxwell 6. A couple of good saves but his distribution was slow are often poor and he did not command his 6 yard box.
Connolly 5. Lots of effort, but simply not a RB and looked uncomfortable and hurriedcat times.
Keogh 3. Caught out so many times for pace and being turned by their striker. I would have given him less but for a couple of tackles in thd second half. Past it for this level.
Husband 5. Covered a lot of ground but not a natural CB
Garbutt 6. Best of our poor defence. Some decent set pieces / crosses.
Bowler 7. Some decent runs, but end result was not always productive.
Ward / James/ Anderson / Dougall - all 5. Midfield largely bypassed first half, with slight improvement second.
Yates / Lavery - each 6. Plaenty of effort , but poor service and should have done better with goal chances.
TJJ 4. Largely ineffective
Hamilton 5. Showed he can beat a player but inconsistent end product and finish
