I must admit referees have a very hard job but they get paid very well these days ( not 20 quid a match)
Saying that, all but one this season have been absolute ba ba. Standards have got worse over the years & it’s a lot to do with those above them that lay the rules down!

I don't think they are any wiser about the rules than we are.
This stupid 'can't put an offside flag up until the player looks like he's shooting at goal' is ridiculous. Not having a go at them but Man U got a corner out of that daft rule yesterday.

We seem to get all the bad ones for our games but that's inevitable I suppose seeing as they're all useless, except maybe one every now and then. The rule changing that happens almost every pre season is pathetic and does nothing to better the game and the offside ruling that you've already mentioned Caz is the one that really drives me crazy and it wastes more time than anything else in a ninety minute match. Please get rid of it for the good of the game.
