Palmer and Morton -at last!

At last ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. These two look exciting. Canโ€™t wait to see how the team unfolds in the next few weeks. UTI.

Wow who could have predicted them coming !๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
A bit out of the blue, wasn't it?

There were suggestions a week or two ago Morton was going elsewhere and obviously the wait for WBA to sign a keeper (Button now joined?) so patience has been the key to finally bringing them in.

Wonder if they'll get time on the pitch tomorrow, depends if they have indeed been training with the club. Can see Ross in goal tomorrow and for cup games, Palmer for next Saturday. Morton some time as a sub tomorrow?

Much more depth and options now, more competition for places . Pleased it has been sorted before the season proper starts on the 12th, though want to win tomorrow as well being greedy, any money however minimal is welcome.

Terrific.

I would now say the best transfer dealings in League One this summer have been by Blackpool, Bristol Rovers, Hull, Oxford and now Lincoln. Top 5 for signings.

All will be revealed in our Season Preview, coming next week.

artell frantically ringing round his squad to update the game tactics for tomorrow.

great news. and still only 3 loans. 6 weeks of games now to see if we need anyone else (if we can stretch to anyone else).

This was clearly sorted bar the signatures quite a while back. Nice that we were prepared to wait to get the right players in rather than panic and bring in sloppy seconds. Albion would have appreciated that as well

You have to say top work by the Manager and the Board to clear out all the previous much higher earners and to build a brand new exciting squad on a much reduced budget.
In current circumstances, having a squad that could just hang on to our League 1 place would have been all any of us could have reasonably expected. We now though hopefully have a team that can more than hold its place in the division and even bid to challenge in the upper part of the table.
Clearly we still have a group of far bigger clubs in with us who would be hard to compete with any season, but no reason now why we can't be one of the best of the rest.
