Olympic athlete Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of murder after a South African appeals court overturned an earlier manslaughter verdict.
He killed his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013 after shooting her four times through a locked toilet door.
He is currently under house arrest after spending one year of his original five-year sentence in jail.
Pistorius will have to return to court to be re-sentenced, for murder.

Well he seems to have found appeal money from somewhere. Maybe his rich Uncle or Barry Fry is doing it for nothing as he has had so much publicity from this case, it must have got him business.

Oscar Pistorius has been granted bail as he waits to be sentenced for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The athlete's initial conviction of culpable homicide - manslaughter in other countries - was overturned last week by the Supreme Court of Appeal, after five judges unanimously ruled that Judge Thokozile Masipa had made a "fundamentally flawed" judgment.

Unbelievable! He got 5 years for manslaughter the first time around!
Apparently, his remorse and rehabilitation offsets the aggravating factors. He's served a year already apparently, and will be eligible for parole in around 3 years. This is all some way short of the 'standard' 15-year sentence for murder in SA. :21:
