Office on PC

Had windows office on laptop when I brought it , now turns out that it was a year trial and that it's going to cost £100+ a year to subscribe.
Pissed off keep shelling out money at the moment , surely Microsoft making enough money.
What ever happened to paying for something once and it's yours?
Not like I use all of the shit just want to be able to open emails from other people

Get office org, it's free and does the job.
