Newcastle at its finest....

Who knows the mitigating factors. But what is a fact is that the bouncer (door supervisor) is there for people's safety, not to go over board and nearly kill somebody in the middle of the street. Trouble inside then he escorts him out and informs the police. Beats him to a pulp in the street then he is just another thug who should be locked up.

you're right.........it's baffling why we don't have nurses standing on the door at pubs and clubs instead of bouncers....then there would be never be any trouble

It's not about that. It's about not having to beat people to a pulp and you know fine well.

He had no right to do what he did regardless of what could've possibly been said to him.

He was in the street and out of his remit along with being bang out of order.

OM, you've not seen what happened in the five minutes before this happened.

He might have been told, but wouldn't fuck off, bouncer gets to a point, he thinks fuck this little shit and sorts him out.

If every time there was strife in a club or bar and the filth got called there'd be a there'd not be enough of them to police it.

Have always found bouncers to be chickens one on one, could tell you a really eye opening story about a supposed NE hardman/Boxer who ran like a whippet when confronted by a real hard man in a Tynemouth Bar.

They are nought but bullies the lot of em, the one in that clip should be pulled in by the law, and done.
As OM says he committed the cardinal sin of taking it outside...

"the lot of em"?

I've met some decent ones, been turfed out by some decent ones and some idiots.

The bloke obviously pulled his chain, if he hadn't he would likely have not got body slammed, takes to people to have a fight.

Are bouncers ***** because people are ***** though OM?

I've only ever had issues with bouncers when I've been behaving like a dick (more than once obviously), but you get what you give.

No idea what matey oin the blue shirt did, but he could have fucked off before that happened surely.

Nah, some of them are cùnts and have a real attitude. The more decent you are the less likely you are to have any bother, but some are keen for any little excuse.

Having said that, they must have to put up with some right arseholes, but that is part of what they get paid to do.

Exactly, the mitigating circumstances are unknown. However, they're now in the street and the bouncer is paid to deal with customers. Not lose his rag and beat them to a pulp.

He may want to consider a career change if he can't keep his cool with a drunk charver.

His job ended once the customer had been ejected.

Hopefully he will get a stretch.

Looked to me like the kid was working himself and his mates were egging him on in a fight.

If you step to a fight then you have to be ready for whatever comes your way.

No point in whinging to the bouncer if you act yourself and he subsequently smashes you to bits.

Thing is that lad who got knocked out could have set about some innocent lad coming out the place and seriously harmed him. Saying that the bouncer could have killed him slamming him like that on the concrete. The bouncer is lucky the kid wasnt killed and he would have been in jail for manslaughter.

As I say... mitigating circumstances that we don't know. However, the bouncer did not use reasonable force and went below and beyond his call of duty.

If you hold someone above your head and then slam them down head first onto the concrete path, That could be interpreted as attempted murder.

Just the way he walks away. He must have heard the lads head crack off the pavement and just walks away without even a backward glance

Not got much time for bouncers myself these days, last time I was in the toon I was erm peacefully ejected, and all because I asked the bitch in the ticket kiosk if I could fuck her when she finished work.

Heard this was shown on Sky news so he could yet be investigated.
Thing is, you cannot get away with anything these days, everybody walks around with a camera

Good job as well as people like this get away with what they do. Surely if someone kicks off all they have to do is have 2 bouncers grab them and pin them to the floor while someone else gets the coppers.
