Don't think people where saying it was 'bullshit' but just questioning the cost benefit. But if you read into again. The reasoning behind the temp stand is not just not to increase capacity but also to allow away support to have the required covered area's whilst the SW is being redeveloped which for the first part will need the roof to be removed.
 
Does anyone know how many the SE 'bike shed' near the tunnel holds, will this new Temp be of similar capacity?

It's being brought in primarily to get around EFL rules around away fans.

There were many opinions and discussions on why a temporary stand could not be built in that space. I am just pleased to see that it has been proven that a temporary stand can be built in that space.

But those discussions weren't around a small stand to hold c185, it would have been for larger stands, which then impacts views from the Selenity Stand, footfall etc (just like Liam touched on in his recent FB Live).
 
Bit surprised the bike shed/KK stand wasn't used as the contingency here - not likely to be that many games when we actually need this capacity/facility - but fantastic to see things happening off the pitch.

Did Liam say some more seats were being squeezed in? Does this potentially take us closer to 11,000 capacity?

Also well done to the club for considering away fans. Many would have just left fans to face the elements and shrugged and said it's a temporary thing.

you really are cherry picking from the discussions. I am just pleased that the ‘can do’ people outweigh the ‘can’t do’ people at the club, and are taking us forward. Get on board and enjoy the ride. Uti.
