New striker maybe!

7m bloody hell that is a bit much for Norwich especially after the ink un said we have no money.

Wouldn't it be very DW if we go and sign a forward for that amount after he said he can't see us brining anyone in.

Sky confirm we have made the offer and that cannon wants to make the move.

As mentioned that n another thread is this money from MA or has the club agreed to omobamidele being sold and using that money.

Also signing a player must mean Sargent is defo out for a long time.

I see Middlesbrough have also shown interest but sky say Cannon wants the Norwich move

Where’s this 7 million coming from then ? Old Smiffys state pension ?
Either omobamidele on way out and they spending the money before it comes in, or Mr America has given them some cash.

It's just funny as ink un wrote an article about how we have nothing to spend and DW said he doesn't need anyone coming in

Dyche asked about transfers in and out and he said he doesn't know what's happening but they need to sell to be able to buy so some could move.

I'm sure they'll be chomping to get that 7 million from us.

Cannon wasn't in the Everton squad tonight

Ink Un suggesting that we actually don't have the fees for Cannon - maybe Everton want it all upfront and we offered it in instalments.

It seems that the young Manc City forward is going to be the answer for cover upfront.

Maybe Smiff could write another out of date cooking in 70 's book and use the tenner towards a striker.

All these problems with not being able to afford players lead back to the impoverished Smiffs who can’t afford to run the club . Why don’t they just eff off at their age ?

DW had said that we don't need any new forward because we are fine and have cover with Nunez, Gibbs and Placheta as options.

Then after the Cup game he comes and says that we have issues upfront?

He does contradict himself a lot:

'Yes, at Bristol he (Placheta) played as a winger because obviously we have issues in our offensive position'
