Aye, he used to TNMW's season ticket money to purchase them ;)

TNMW bought a bloody season ticket? Fucking hell this place will implode! :59:

I did no such thing. :17:

regardless of that, they've capped the bare structuring off as well. The bloke has a screw loose. It's as if the 200 logo's around the ground aren't enough.

If anything, he's wasting cash.

It'll be interesting on the day he carks it if Geordies hold him in the same esteem as Thatcher. Pilgrimage to piss on his grave…..

He's not wasting cash when the TV cameras show the whole of the east side on a fortnightly basis to a world wide audience. The only way to get more exposure would be to sponsor the shirts but that would cost money !

I could spend all night saying what I would do but unfortunately there will be one hell of a queue

Using that logic he should be paying for the advertising around the ground. Bit by bit he keeps pushing it, and people buy the excuses.

The never ending desecration of a once proud ground into nothing more than a giant tatty carrier bag, always leaves me that bit more empty each time it gets worse.

Some will, but I can't imagine she would have had tens of thousands paying her money every fortnight, and defending her actions to the hilt to many others.

To me, he is just doing what he's done since he decided to let Keegan know who was in charge, and that is stick two fingers up at anyone who questions his level of control. He loves control and loves being mister powerful. He knows that the free advertising annoys some fans but only the fans who moan on line. The fans inside the ground who fill the stadium sit there and actually make it look better for him.

The shirts will be next, wonga was just to annoy the fans too but it seems to take an awful lot to annoy the self proclaimed most passionate fans in the country. I don't understand the notion that he hasn't done this yet because it would cost him money, that's akin to saying "hello mr ashley, I don't know anything about you".

For a laugh, Hatem and me came up with an idea in May to get the commercial side to put up a sign saying fuck off pardew.

We cleared it with Mike, he will do anything for money.

We decided to pay for it out of a win bonus. We haven't had a win bonus since we decided in May. We hope we can do it before the end of the season.

I just don't get the logic behind it.

Yes, it's ruined the ground but with hundreds of logos all over the place, what does it achieve by having more?

If anything it will put people off wanting to spend cash there for the sheer tat look about it. In fact, I can't think of another brand that does this.

On second thoughts though, this could be a masterstroke as when our shit strikers rake balls over the bar, the camera's will pan straight across that new sign.

He's doing it because he can and no one is stopping him. He's doesn't need to explain a logic at this stage but in years to come the whole ground, called sports direct ground could be red white and blue. We could be sponsored by SD and play in red white and blue colours. We could even be called sports direct united.

People in Newcastle still shop in his shops, people in newcastle still buy the shirts, people in newcastle still buy over priced watered down beer in his stadium and still buy pasties, pies and hot dogs that cost twice as much as they do outside yet more than half are inside the ground for less than two hours. People still go to watch a team that only want to stay in the division and have no interest in cup games.

People say we're the best fans in the league because of numbers. we don't have the best atmosphere, we don't out sing fans, we are one of the largest urban areas in Europe with only one football club yet because we get the 3rd highest attendance in this league we think we're super fans. We're not and far from it. We're pretty much close to being the worst because we fill a very large stadium that now looks shit and we sit there and do fuck all about it.

I'm glad I'm out. I hope he replaces the seats with red white and blue ones to spell out sports direct so you can see it ten minutes before kick off.

Until he's invited for tea and kicks your dog, spills the cheap plonk you gave him, stubbs tabs out on your carpet and tries to kiss your wife then some will never understand just how much he fucking hates you and has no interest in your clubs history or clubs future.

He's making money and laughing his cock off because we rolled over and let him fuck our club.

* thats to nufc fans and not any individuals .

He doesn't make more money in the north east off the back of it. It's a global sales thing. Free advertising. Of course he's going to plaster it everywhere. It's the reason he still owns the club.

I agree with what you're saying TC but in my period of reflected thoughts, I just reckon the game as we knew has gone and we can't accept it.

The days that we yearn for will never come back and the fact that the sport is now business orientated, another nail in our coffin of hate.

I also agree that we could have an owner that would give us something to cling to, like hope, desire or dreams on the same sort of running that we have now. Albeit with someone that actually wants sponsors that fill the club's coffers, which in turn will increase the profit margin here rather than at their business.

An argument that hopefully has ran it's course is the right to attend but i still reckon that a hell of a lot more can be done by the regular match goer in raising their voice of disapproval.

We managed to get a lot of anger and passion aired on the forum recently. if we channeled this into ways in which we can raise the profile of Ashley's cancer here then we'd go a long way. We started something last year but it didn't last. Surely we all know the script nowadays that any positives shouldn't remove the need for change.

the problem the way I see it is when I used to go to the games I was sitting with thousands who would sit there and do fuck all but clap. then when we were playing shit in league one and winning we had fans thinking we were super and could really go places. Then we we got into the prem again we had fans thinking ashley was right and pardew was a good manager.

You can't compete against that so I stopped going. (albeit a tad before we came 5th) Now I don't go and know the ground is full and imagine is in a worse state regarding atmosphere than when I was going.

You can't beat that either. It's a waiting game. Not because it will ever get back to the way it was because I know it won't but merely because I know the club will flounder and I fancy going back in years to come when the modern fan has given up and we play old school football against other fucked up clubs. It will be good again.

I know ashley will leave one day, I think I suspect why but I'd love to see his face when he see's the infra red dot on his forehead in the mirror. there's only so far you keep whipping a dying animal.
