Interesting contrast to blues who are shutting down their academy whilst we're investing in it. With teams not being able to import youngsters once the brexit laws come to fruition there'll be even more of a scramble for British talent so perhaps this will give us an edge.
A lot is riding on how we bring through the current crop of teenagers like Barry, Chukwuemeka, Bogarde, the Ramseys and the various other young talents we've got.
We've had a lot of players from our academy go onto have decent careers over the last decade or so but only Jack has come through and become a proper champions league level player. Hopefully this new lot can be a great generation for us.
