Mate of mine was there. Apparently it was kicking off all over and the old bill were running from ruck to ruck trying to protect other fans and staff on the concourses (away from ESPN's cameras). When the got to the bit we all saw they were attacked from all sides.
Most of the other Millwall fans were booing the 30 or so that were kicking off on camera.
There's a good story from this, my mate saw a big steward, very obvious in his high-viz, wade into a group of loons kicking off, sweep a little girl off her feet and waded back out again.
Madness.
