That is a fantastic gesture. I'm not in anyway an emotional bloke, but seeing those kids before the game bought me as close to tears as I've been since my mum died a few years back. Winning the cup pales against giving those boys, and their families, a day in the "sunshine". "Football more important than life......", complete nonsense.

Yup, I've got to say I was in tears when those two lads came out, and I loved seeing Jack getting the crowd going. Legend!

I thought at one stage that Nicky C. had given his medal to Harvey, as he was proudly wearing this on the pitch during the celebrations. Nice touch that both himself and Jack got a medal and for me they both formed a very important part of the day.

Luke, it was pure observation and later when we met NC he was not wearing a medal like the other players were. Your above article may indicate that this was likely, and a wonderful gesture by our management team once again. UTI
