Safe travels to those going tonight. A 200 mile + one way journey on a Tuesday evening just isn't possible for me so I'll be IFollowing alongside quite a few others I'd imagine.
A game we might as well go for it in with our lack of fit defenders. Try to outscore them. Might make for a good watch

Going for my first Ifollow of the season tonight. All the blues swept away on Saturday and once again looking forward to a match. With the injury situation, it’s going to be incredibly hard especially for Max if, as it looks likely, he starts. That said, he has a top attitude and I’m certain he’ll cope well. UTI.

Have I missed something? Where’s Sean Roughan? A centre back by trade and was highly thought of

I think they’ve played 3 midweek league home games on and won them all 5-0.
Cheltenham, Morecambe and Sheffield Wednesday.
What could possibly go wrong?

Think our lot have it in em to put in a big surprising performance. Particularly with the return of the magnificent ‘one’ and the new boy. 4-1 Sunderland then.

5-0 was my prediction prior to Saturday. A couple of Sunderland fans I know say that their midfield is performing superbly at the moment. With our sometimes powderpuff midfield and makeshift defence that could spell trouble. However, the attacking intent we saw on Saturday could also cause them problems if we go for that approach. I still think we will lose tonight , but hopefully something respectable like 2-1. Hoping for a surprise though!

They've still got a few out either injured or covid. O'Brien only just over covid may be back. Lost their captain stretchered off at Wycombe. Rookie goal keeper.

You never know.

Pity we are so depleted also as they have a much bigger squad to draw from.

Would snap your hand off for a draw and then all eyes to Saturday.
For where we are at now, Saturday’s game more important, just hope we get through tonight without any more injuries

They’ll have a point to prove after last years play offs so expecting it to be as difficult as it gets in this league.

That said, if we play the way we did on Saturday we should be able to give them a good game.

They are unbeaten in the league since the beginning of November.

Will be a difficult game but if we can get to the levels we were at on Saturday then you never know.

After such a decent run of form they're due a defeat but will settle for a draw🙏

Could anyone help me out with suggestions of where to park in Sunderland?
There was a very good free park n ride system last time we went up there but prepare for a longish wait after the game to get the bus back to the car. I just usually abandon the car somewhere close and stick the ‘ doctor on call’ sticker on the dashboard.
