There was a lot of suspect defending last preseason, before it all clicked into place in the first league games.

I can't say I remember last pre season at all! I don't expect that any of defence combinations that we've seen in the preseason will be used in the league so not overly concerned at this stage.

Makama is a big lad.
Disappointing from us, although to be fair we were nowhere near full strength.
Stockport look a decent side, and likely to be back in the FL this time next season.
