Three Things The Imps Need To Do To Beat Morecambe:

"I don't want to suggest that Morecambe is a one-man team, but if we stop Stockton from getting a chance on Tuesday we will win the game."

Michael Appleton: "They've shipped a few but they've scored a lot and we need to be mindful of that."

One Morecambe Supporter Talks To Vital Lincoln City (Who Are Ya?):

"I was, and still am a huge fan of Derek Adams, so Stephen Robinson has had big shoes to fill. However, he’s doing a good job so far."

Morecambe (a): Tonight's Team News:

Scully Watch:

** Anthony Scully needs one goal to become the 69th player in the club's history to score 30 goals. He would join Lee Frecklington on 30.

** If he scores, Scully will hit the 30 from just 72 appearances; that is faster than club legends John Ward (73 games), Johnny Campbell (73), Gareth Ainsworth (73), Mick Harford (99), Gordon Hobson (103), Tony Cunningham (107), Peter Graham (108), and Phil Hubbard (152, although he started as a defender).

** Scully needs two goals to reach 30 from starts alone (50 starts, having scored one goal from his 22 substitute appearances). If he does score twice tonight, only Allan Hall (25 starts), Billy Dinsdale (33), Harold Andrews (38), Hugh Robertson (43), Tommy Cheetham (43), and the greatest of all Andy Graver (48) scored 30 goals from fewer starts.

Think this might be tougher than Burton. They've done ok so far and didn't they beat Wednesday recently? I can imagine them playing more on the break and letting us have the possession - hope we can get the early goal(s) again.

Just been told by the Morecambe receptionist (ticket office was unstaffed) that Imps fans can buy tickets on the night.

I would have preferred to have got that from the cleaner, as in my experience they are always the people in the know. However good news, and at least I won't be stuck on the M6 behind any day trippers at the Blackpool turn off for a change.

IFollow for me tonight. Too much of a trek on a Tuesday night under normal circumstances let alone with the possibility of not having enough fuel to get there and back.

I think there will be a fair few goals going in. They can score but also let quite a number in. Could be an entertaining one

This was confirmed by Lincoln earlier

This could be our smallest away following for a few years. Tuesday night, early season, long journey for 'domestic' Imps, on iFollow and some people having fuel issues.

Anything approaching 200 away fans would be an excellent effort imo.

On the plus side, in years to come judging by Morecambe's results, I will be able to say I was there when we scored a 96th minute winner in a famous 7-6 thriller.

Just about to set off from Shropshire. Shh my tank is full so hopefully I don’t get hijacked. Hope the M6 is kind 1 Liverpool and Man U both away so most of their fan base won’t be on it!
