Feels like a bigger game today than it should be. Must avoid defeat at the least. Much needed win please!
 
Needless to say 3 points will be very welcome today

We're 11 points below the playoffs and 7 points above the relegation zone. So roughly where most people on this forum predicted we would be this season. So not disastrous by any means

However, it seems worse because we've slid down the table from a higher position following a winless run of games which is clearly affecting the players confidence and performance.

So we desperately need a win today, not necessarily because of our league position, but purely to stop the slide

The players are capable of turning this around, I just hope the weather doesn't spoil their chances

We've played better and we've played worse than we currently are. Whilst some think we should be pushing for a playoff place I think we're probably about where we should be with the current set up...and the are at least 4 other clubs dreaming about being where we are in the league.

Anyone know if MK still play the same? If they are not pressing us our midfield might be able to function better .
 
Cannot hide from the fact that our current form and the league position of the opposition makes this a ‘six pointer’. We really do need to win this game and turn the tide. Come on City.
 
I may be wrong, but I don't think the imps have lost 2 consecutive league games yet, this season? A stat to be proud of. This would not be the time to lose that record as it would show us a clear direction of travel and of course 5 away leage defeats on the trot. I will settle for a battling draw.
 
Afternoon Imps, slowly getting drier down South but the pitch might be a bit soggy... Definitely a Big One today, safe travels for all Imps headed to MK.
