Niggling hamstring trouble I think.

Niggling hamstring trouble I think.
I think the switch that started off this win was Johnson moving up front. Think he’s struggled to get in the game when in midfield. Were Crewe the perfect opponents for us today? Teams lately especially at home have got right in our faces and stopped us knocking it around, they let us play and paid the price as we were back to our clinical best. The positional tweaks really worked.
A good day.
An excellent performance today. Up until we scored, I thought we looked like the team we should have been been this season, rather than the team we have been. Crewe's patient style certainly played into our hands. It was nice to open the scoring for once again. It seems a long time since we did.
Every player was so much better than in the Fleetwood game and most of the other recent performances.
All three goals were terrific. Hopper's vision was phenomenal for the third. When we go forward like that, we're absolutely blistering. There's not a team in the league who can cope with that when we're on song. Trouble is, as we've seen in recent weeks, is delivering that on a consistent basis. We've done that mostly, which has got us into the position we're in, up until our recent slump.
Hopefully today's performance will be the booster shot to the squad that reminds them that we're not here by accident and they're more than capable. More of the same in the coming weeks, please.
When it works he is a lovely passer - he 'caresses' the ball more than any player I can remember.
There's the rub - Crewe were naive, set up like a few teams we played in the early part of the season, with the same outcome. Any opposition manager doing his homework will see how we are less effective against sides who press, and set up accordingly.I thought Crewe let us play; a lot of teams recently have pressed us and we've struggled with that. Let's hope Ipswich do as well.
