Well, I was supposed to be on the 15:26 direct train and it has been cancelled. So, so sick of this tinpot service from LNER.

I think the weather warnings just about touched the Gillingham area and according to my lad who's in Essex it's been very wet there the past week.
Haven't seen any suggestion of the match being under threat but with the distances some are travelling it's something to keep in mind

I rang the ground this morning. I was told there should be no problems and no plans for any inspection . I will be on the 9.00 from Bristol to London as planned.

I'm just around the corner in Sittingbourne and yes, it's been wet and miserable all week but we've not had anything like the amount of rain seen in other parts of the country.

We're expecting a rain-free day tomorrow, overcast about 8 degrees. I see no reason at all for it not to go ahead. As long as you guys & gals can travel I'm confident they'll be a game on for you when you get here.

It's politics. Last time LNER had to be rescued and taken into the public sector it was the best performing railway in the country. That was under Labour and the early days of this government. This time it was rescued and taken into public ownership but the Tories can't show that things work well when publicly owned so there you go.

Hi folks, won't be able to join in as usual tomorrow.

I'll be away up to Edinburgh. Combined birthday weekend and Hawkwind's 50th anniversary tour...

Seen them in the 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s...

Met loads of great folk, my lad has even recorded a track with one of the band. Not bad for 7 years old...
